The Colorado Harvesting Energy Network

The CHEN Board of Directors is inviting you to join like-minded property owners, service providers, community leaders, and developers committed to establishing distributed generation as an integral part of our New Energy Economy. We understand that these community-based projects will establish superior job growth, strong communities, energy security, and environmental benefits. The Colorado Harvesting Energy Network aspires to become a force in bringing quality projects to full development. Success, as measured by the CHEN Mission and Goals, will be built upon your sustained commitment to the CHEN network.

Please join CHEN at whatever level of commitment you choose. In addition to this financial contribution, we want to understand your particular motivation for joining the Network.

We offer several levels of membership, each crucial to the support of community-based energy development oin CHEN

Each member is entitled to display marketing information on the CHEN website that describes your organization, professional service, development, or other resource of interest to the CHEN membership. Follow this link to view a sample.

Membership Categories And Annual Dues:
Associate Member: $100 (non-voting)
If you support a clean energy future for Colorado, help us develop homegrown power just as we are developing more local food options for urban consumers. Link with agricultural producers who also want to harvest energy. Help us prove that the demand exists in urban areas to buy energy produced by fellow Coloradans close to home.
Community Participants: $ 50
CHEN can help you cross the finish line with distributed generation projects, assist you in finding expert consultants and technical assistance and make sure your point of view is represented in the political arena.
Membership Organizations: $100
CHEN needs you to help us pull together information about resources, funding, policies and opportunities into a common tool box that we all can access, improve upon, and help constituents reach. We need you to join our network to help your members link with others around Colorado in a collaborative effort to ensure our citizens receive benefits from renewable energy development.
Service Providers: $500
Whether you're a lawyer, banker, accountant, sales professional, marketing consultant, engineer or technical expert, CHEN can help you find the renewable energy prospects of tomorrow. By joining our collaborative network, you can participate in formulating project planning tools and network with landowners and project developers.
Project Developers: $1,000
If you are interested in developing renewable energy projects in Colorado, you will want to join with CHEN as part of a statewide collaborative effort to make sure local economic development opportunities are realized, technical challenges are addressed, and community support is strong.
Sponsors: $2,500
Utilities, large businesses and other interested parties can derive numerous benefits from CHEN membership beyond the obvious community goodwill. By working with us in our forum we can achieve consensus on important policies and move forward with renewable energy development in a way that benefits everyone.
